This is the first initiative under the new funding model currently being implemented by FAPESP, entitled “FAPESP Research Collaboration Networks”.
Through this new call for proposals, FAPESP aims to promote collaboration networks in research on quantum technologies throughout the state of São Paulo.
Proposals involving a group of researchers with complementary experience will be eligible for funding. This initiative prioritizes proposals that promote new research directions within established groups and have a clear international presence, aiming to achieve challenging objectives that could not be reached by individual teams.
FAPESP provides up to 20 million reais through this call for proposals. Up to two networks of collaboration in research exploring different research areas and involving different teams will be funded, with the total cost of the proposal not exceeding ten million reais. The selected proposals will comply with the rules and conditions of the Research Support – Thematic Projects modality.
The researcher who will be responsible for the preparation and submission of the proposal, hereafter referred to as the Responsible Researcher (RR), must be in charge of a Thematic Grant or Young Researcher – Phase 2 that is active on the date of submission.
