
Call will fund innovative research involving companies from São Paulo and Spain
18 de fevereiro de 2025FAPESP Innovative R&D* – FAPESP and the Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial (CDTI), in Spain, announce the second call for proposals under the cooperation agreement between the institutions.
The call aims to promote and facilitate the realization of bilateral innovative research projects between companies in the state of São Paulo and Spain.
The call is open to projects from any sector. The call is valid for the years 2025 and 2026, with the respective deadlines: March 31, 2025 and March 31, 2026.
The selected cooperative research projects should aim at the development of highly innovative products and/or processes that lead to commercialization in the global market.
The selected projects will be eligible to receive funding from CDTI, in Spain, and from FAPESP, in the state of São Paulo.
The Call will accept proposals prepared by researchers from small companies (less than 250 employees) in the state of São Paulo in partnership with researchers from a company of any size in Spain, or with other entities from the European country. Small companies from São Paulo that want to submit technological and scientific development projects aimed at the Spanish market can also participate.
Proposals must be submitted to FAPESP and CDTI according to the schedule established in the call.
Proposals submitted to FAPESP must follow the rules of the FAPESP Innovative Research in Small Businesses Program (PIPE) – Phase 2. Proposals will be submitted through SAGe.
